The Past Perfect Tense

Amira had done the housework. 

• The housework had been done / by Amira. 

O + had been + P.P 

The Past Perfect Continuous Tense 

Nada had been cooking dinner before her husband came. 

• Dinner had been being cooked (by Nada) before her husband came. 
• Dinner had been being cooked before Nada’s husband came. 

O + had been being + P.P
