المبني للمعلوم هي الجملة التي تحتوي على فاعل معلوم من هو، أما المبني للمجهول عندما لا تحتوي الجملة على فاعل
لماذا لا نستخدم فقط المبني للمعلوم؟
- ربما لا نعلم من الفاعل
- نعلم الفاعل لكنه غير مهم
- نعلم الفاعل لكن لا نريد ذكره منعا للاحراج
- أو الفاعل بديهي لا نحتاج ذكره

How to change into Passive?
- Begin the sentence with the object.
- Use a helping verb after the object. (v. to be)
- Change the main verb into P.P .
Passive of the simple present tense.
Ahmad studies English. >> English is studied / English is studied by Ahmad.
- Object + Am / is / are + P.P
Passive of the present continuous
Basma is reading a book. >> A book is being read. / by Basma
- Object + Am / is / are + being + P.P
Passive of the present perfect
Salah has drawn a tree. >> A tree has been drawn.
- Object + Has / have + been + P.P
Passive of the present perfect continuous
Tareq has been watching a match. >> A Match has been being watched.
